Frome Festival is On

Yesterday was the start of the Frome Festival, which must be the largest community arts festival in Somerset.  This 15th festival is bigger than ever, with nearly 200 events taking place in many venues throughout Frome, including pubs, churches, halls and gardens.

I went to the website - fromefestival.co.uk and downloaded the free app.  It gives a list of events on each day, ending on the 10th July.

Frome Open Studios is part of the festival and a chance to meet artists and see their work.  Maps and details can be downloaded and printed, also from the website.  Hard copies are available from various locations in the area.  I know there were some in the One Craft Gallery in Shepton, as some of our makers are taking part!  Seeing where artists work and being able to meet them is truly revealing.  The only problem is deciding who to visit...
