'hidden talent in the town' 

I knew about Clive's involvement in a band as a drummer & vocalist, but not actually witnessed until the Friday Flea event.

 Clive owns Minsky's Barbers in Shepton Mallet and Street. 

We had the pleasure of key-board, sax, drums and vocals.

Talent in the Town - Helen Lacey, IoD Awards

Helen Lacey, received Runner Up for Young Director of the Year Award for the South West at the Institute of Directors Business Awards. The Awards were held at the Bristol Marriott, in which Directors from all industries over the South West celebrated the success of a number of individuals. Helen won this category last year, so was absolutely delighted to be recognised again for a second year.

HIDDEN TALENT in the TOWN - Will Dunscombe

If you follow Will on Facebook it is obvious he has a passion and talent for photography. 

 I took particular notice today when he told me about his recent photos of bluebells.

If you have had the pleasure as a child to explore bluebell woods, the memories remain with you

...the pungent aroma, the mass of colour....so magical.

....and to my surprise there are bluebells in the woods at Beacon Hill, just outside of Shepton Mallet.

These gorgeous photos by Will, capture the early stages of flowering this season, 

the carpet should become a deep blue within a couple of weeks

Thank you Will for reminding me about the heavenly experience of a bluebell wood
