The BBC (Wall To Wall) are filming a documentary called ‘Turn Back Time’ in Shepton Mallet for approx’ 12 weeks as they fast forward through 6 era's of British history this Summer. A book will also be published for the series.
Last week the theme was Victorian where two families lived the era. On Sunday a Victorian market was filmed combined with antique stalls from Niki at Nostalgia at No.1 You were able to buy goods from the era, it was an experience not to be missed. We also opened No21 for the event.
This week the shops are being transformed by the creative teams into the Edwardian period, lots of blue paint is replacing the dark Victorian shades of olive green, brown and dark red.
