SOS Africa Charity Shop - Opened in the High Street

Michael Eavis founder of Glastonbury Festival, launched the new SOS Africa Charity shop 

& Fundraising Office in Shepton Mallet

After a month of hard work, with the help of many volunteers, co-founder, Matt Crowcombe 

and family opened the new Charity Shop at 21 High Street

They have created a colourful interior decorated in hot brights with hand-painted murals, 

influenced by the animals of Africa

Many people supported the opening and they raised £264 

A friendly, fun environment supported by volunteers 

SOS Africa have a fresh approach to the Charity shop concept.

They also run silent auctions, to the highest bidder and wacky fund raising events....e.g. sponsored abseil's from Kilver Court Viaduct and Cranmore Tower.
