We have heard the most wonderful news that Pat Bridgman has bought Sales House one of the most beautiful buildings in Shepton Mallet .....which has remained derelict. It was originally used as a Covent. There is also a tunnel in the grounds where crosses are formed in its stone walls.
Another gorgeous georgian property The Manor also has new owners who plan to put it back to its former glory.

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful. I park my car near to the convent (don't tell any one will you?! ;-)) And have often wondered about this beautiful building. Good to know that it may one day be put back to its former glory.
