Kilver court will be showcasing two art exhibitions as part of the 2011 Somerset Art weeks.
A wonderful opportunity to browse and purchase selected works of art from local makers
Chrysalis at the White Rooms (above the delicatessen) is a fresh new exhibition featuring three emerging artists who are exhibiting for the first time. Open 10.30am - 4.30pm, late nights until 6pm on Thursdays.
Natalie Shaw: Mosaic mirrors and pictures using stained glass and found objects.
Sue Hazelwood: Explorative mixed media paintings using inks, acrylic, collage, wax and crayon.
Janine Starr: Contemporary handmade glass beads and silver jewellery.
Silvia Prandini: Textile artist, combining felts, silk and feathers creating unique clothes and accessories.
The Link (above the cafe) - A coming together of ten artists/makers showing their individual approaches to working within a diverse range of materials to produce an interesting, vibrant and varied selection of work. Something for everyone. Open 10am - 4.30pm. www.aboutthelink.com
