Lantern Parade on Thursday 22nd December 2011
Shepton Paper Lights is a festive parade of hand-made paper lanterns through Shepton Mallet, set to the beat of a samba band. The lanterns are made by people of all ages at local schools, colleges and at community workshops.
The project is based in Shepton Mallet’s market square where public workshops are run during December.
Lantern making workshops will be held at our shop, No 3 Town Street, in Shepton’s Market Square.
Workshops will be held on the following dates:
- Saturday 3rd December 9am – 2pm
- Saturday 10th December 9am – 2pm
- Saturday 17th December 9am – 2pm
Children under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
